Heat soak test (HST)

Heat soak test is the detection of non dissolved chemical element nickel sulfide in glass raw material. Nickel sulfide impurities in the presence of tempered glass can cause spontaneous explosion of glass, even after several years of use. After this test up to 99.8 percent. decreases in the object mounted glass spontaneous explosion probability (there are additional conditions).
