Two-component polisulphide sealant for insulating glass.

DESCRIPTION

Thiover® is a two-part polisulphide sealant especially formulated for the insulating glass industry. Thiover® is produced in different viscosities in order to suit individual requirements of operators and of equipments in use. Thiover® sealant is solvent free and can be used either for the production of single seal or double seal panels.

Thiover® tixotrophic characteristics allows its use on any kind of metal profile. It can be applied by any kind of extruder available in the market (air - hydraulic - semiautomatic - automatic). Proper mixing is easy to achieve by using any kind of mixing devices (static, dinamic).

TEST AND METHODS

Thiover® has achieved brilliant results in many aging tests as: water immersion, resistance to atmosphere corrosion, to vibrational stresses, to ultraviolet radiation etc. Units produced by our costumers are regularly checked in our laboratories and tested under severe conditions in the most important European test-houses.

PACKING

Thiover® is packed and distributed in the following sizes:

  • 210 liters (55 American gallons) iron drums
  • 10 - 35 - 110 kilos small iron drums
  • big bags (1000 Iiters)
  • 365 - 425 cc. plastic tubes with two components in contact or catalist in separated kit.
