Vision – Lite

SGG VISION-LITE is an anti-reflective glass, manufactured from SGG DIAMANT extra clear glass, with very low light reflectance. It provides maximum transparency and optical clarity, allowing optimum vision through the glass at all times.

SGG VISION-LITE is available as standard in laminated form, SGG STADIP PROTECT*.

The SGG VISION-LITE anti-reflective coating is applied to the glass by magnetically enhanced cathodic sputtering under vacuum conditions. The coating has the unique property of significantly reducing light reflectance on the surface of the glass. Two coated sheets of glass are bonded together in a SGG STADIP or SGG STADIP PROTECT laminated construction. To achieve the low-reflective effect, the coatings must be on the external faces of the assembly.

SGG VISION-LITE can be used in a wide variety of applications:

  • Exteriors: shop fronts and commercial frontages, glazing where vision is important, particularly at night time (panoramic restaurants, airtraffic control towers, petrol station windows), signage for motorways, railways and airports, etc.
  • Interiors: high quality picture framing, display cabinets and interior display windows (luxury goods shops, museums, etc), internal partitions (clean rooms, control rooms, hospitals, etc), dividing screens in cinema projection rooms, television studios, machine control rooms.

Note

Applications such as tables or console tables are not recommended as the glass and coating are at greater risk of being scratched.

 

SGG VISION-LITE is available in Jumbo sizes 6 000 x 3 210 mm.

Standard combinations available from stock are 8.8mm, 12.8mm, 16.8mm.
