Decorglass wired

SGG DECORGLASS WIRED is a flat, translucent, clear patterned glass incorporating a metal lattice with 12.5 mm squares*. It conforms to standard EN 572-6 - Glass in building - basic soda lime silicate glass products - patterned wired glass.

Applications

SGG DECORGLASS WIRED glass can be used in many applications, including overhead glazing, canopies, doors, windows, interior partitions, furniture, etc.

SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC PERFORMANCE

Light transmittance factor for clear wired glass: 80 % approx.

U value = 5.7 W / (m2.K)

FIRE-RESISTANCE PERFORMANCE

Installed correctly in appropriate systems, SGG DECORGLASS WIRED can provide fire resistance. This performance must be verified by a test report from an accredited laboratory.

Glazing

SGG DECORGLASS WIRED must always be installed in accordance with current national regulations. Particular attention must be paid to fire-resistant applications. Do not install SGG DECORGLASS WIRED above heat-emitting appliances. Like ordinary patterned glass, SGG DECORGLASS WIRED has a preferred viewing side. For a uniform appearance, adjacent panes should all be cut and glazed in the same pattern direction of the glass.

Note

SGG DECORGLASS WIRED is not suitable for assembly into double-glazed units. If there is any likely risk from moisture or atmospheric pollutants, the edges must be suitably treated for protection.
